Getting there: Shuttles ($16-$25) and taxis ($26-$35) are available from Miami International Airport. Shuttles from Ft. Lauderdale Airport cost $26-$35, and taxis cost more than $36. Car rentals are available online.
Getting around: Parking in Miami Beach is difficult and expensive, and taxis or walking are the most convenient ways to explore the immediate area. The Miami-Dade Transit Metrobus operates 24 hours a day along Collins Avenue ($1.25 per ride). For travel outside the beach area, a car is recommended.
