The Hotel Astor has 40 guestrooms. The furniture is custom-designed and French-milled, and room decor evokes Art Deco ocean liner staterooms, complete with frosted glass and faux portholes. Walls are heavily insulated.
Bathrooms have oversized marble sinks and telephone extensions. Bedding includes Frette linens and down duvets.
