The refined Disney's Yacht Club Resort, which is reminiscent of the New England yacht clubs of yesteryear, shares many of its recreational facilities with its adjacent companion property, Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The centerpiece of both resorts is the three-acre lakeside water park Stormalong Bay, which has water slides, a children’s pool, and a white-sand beach as well as seven spa tubs and two quiet pools. The resort also offers nightly bedtime stories, a game room, playground, and the Sandcastle Club, which provides on-site children’s activities (surcharge). The Ship Shape Health Club has exercise equipment and also offers massages and facials. And guests can rent pontoon boats, canopy boats, and Mercury WaterMouse boats at the marina (surcharge).
The resort has 73,000 square feet of flexible function space, three ballrooms, a business center, audio/video equipment and support, and event-catering services. High-speed Internet access is available as well (surcharge). In addition, the resort offers complimentary ferry service to Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, and complimentary, scheduled motorcoach transportation to other areas in Walt Disney World® Resort, including the two other theme parks, both water parks, and the Downtown Disney® area.
Disney’s Magical Express: Guests of this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney’s Magical Express service. Motorcoaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels, while Disney staff members pick up bags and deliver them straight to guestrooms.

Rooms have furnished balconies or patios with views of the resort’s parking area, garden, pool, or lake. Design details include headboards in the shape of a ship’s wheel and other nautical accents. All guestrooms provide tables and chairs, ceiling fans, coffeemakers, refrigerators, and minibars. High-speed Internet access is also available (surcharge). - Depart the airport and bear right (south) onto S Access Rd.
- Continue south on Boggy Creek Rd and take SR 417/Central Florida Greenway. .

- Take Exit 6 toward SR-535 **SR536 **I-4 East and keep left at the fork on the ramp.
- Merge onto International Drive.
- Stay on International Drive to FL-536 W.
- Take FL-536 (turn right) and follow signs to Walt Disney World® Resort.
- FL-536 W becomes Epcot® Drive.
- Take the ramp toward Disney’s Hollywood Studios™/Epcot®/Wide World of Sports.
- Merge onto East Buena Vista Drive.
- Follow signs to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

Taxis to Disney's Yacht Club Resort are $45–$49 one way per trip. Fee is based on mileage, not number of passengers. Rental cars are another transportation option; reservations can be made online.
Getting around: From Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, guests can take a complimentary water launch (ferry) to Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios™. Scheduled (and complimentary) motorcoach transportation is available to all other areas in Walt Disney World® Resort, including the two other theme parks, both water parks, and the Downtown Disney® Area. Travelers who wish to avoid driving altogether should take a taxi or shuttle from the airport to the hotel, then use the complimentary transportation provided around the resort. Guests who wish to visit downtown Orlando or other points in the Orlando area will want to rent a car.
