Barefoot Beach Resort

The all-condo Barefoot Beach Resort is situated in the small beach-side community of Indian Shores. Directly across the street, the resort’s own private walkway leads down to the soft sandy beach lapped by Gulf of Mexico waters. Dolphins are often observed swimming offshore. Numerous shops and fresh-seafood restaurants are within a two-mile radius.

A heated outdoor pool surrounded by a sundeck is on site. Eight barbecue grills are situated along a landscaped corridor that leads from the front of the property back towards the pool. Condos are spread among six buildings, each containing two laundry rooms.

Located in Indian Shores, the Barefoot Beach Resort offers one- and two-bedroom condos. All have full kitchens with refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, small appliances, dishware, cookware, and granite counters. Living rooms with porcelain tiled floors have sofa beds and TVs with DVD players and cable. Adjoining living areas and bedrooms are sunrooms wrapped in windows. Classic tropical decor includes ceiling fans and rattan furnishings. Linens and pillows are provided.

  • Merge onto N Mem Hwy/SR-60 E via the ramp to Downtown/I-275.
  • Take the exit onto I-275 S toward St Petersburg.
  • Take exit 28 for Gandy Blvd/SR-694 W toward Pinellas Park.
  • Merge onto Gandy Blvd N/SR-694 W and continue to follow SR-694 W.
  • Continue on Park Blvd N.
  • Turn right at Gulf Blvd/SR-699 N and continue to the resort at 19417 Gulf Blvd.


Getting there: Taxi fare to this Indian Shores condo resort is approximately $70-$75 and shuttles are approximately $35.

Getting around: The Suncoast Beach Trolley runs along Gulf Blvd from Clearwater to St. Pete Beach. A trolley stop is located in front of the hotel, with service every half-hour from 5 AM-10 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Fares are $1.25 for single rides and $3.50 for all-day passes. Cars are recommended for travel to outlying areas. Rental cars available online.
