Situated on Estero Island, one mile from the shopping and entertainment of downtown Fort Myers Beach, the Diamondhead’s beachfront location translates to plenty of water-sports activities, including personal watercraft rentals.

A sundeck with splash pool, two spa tubs, and lounge chairs overlooks the beach. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor dining, all with great gulf views. A 24-hour fitness center offers cardio machines and free weights, and a 24-hour business center offers complimentary access to a computer and printer.

Getting there: Taxis to Diamondhead Beach Resort are approximately $40 and airport shuttles are approximately $30-$40.

Getting around: Traffic can be heavy on Fort Myers Beach. A trolley which stops at the hotel runs up and down the beach and costs 25 cents per ride. Public transportation off the island is limited and cars are recommended for exploring outlying areas. Rental cars are available online.
