Located on 12 lush acres in Fort Myers Beach, this resort is nestled between Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. With 1,500 feet of white-sand beach and its own marina and fishing pier, the Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa offers plentiful beach activities and water sports.
In addition to the lagoon-style Octopool, the resort offers two "quiet" pools. A spa offers a variety of therapies, beauty services, and a eucalyptus steam room. A fitness center is also provided.
Dining and refreshment options include the open-air JoJo’s at the Beach; Jack’s Sea Grille, with Asian fusion cuisine and Gulf views; and Bongo's, a fun poolside bar with a rainforest theme.

- Turn left onto Daniels Pkwy and travel west for approximately 4 miles to Ben C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Pkwy. Turn left at the light.
- Travel 4.5 miles on Ben C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Pkwy, crossing US Route 41.
- Turn left onto Summerlin Rd.
- Travel west on Summerlin Rd for 4 miles to the Route 865 San Carlos Boulevard exit. (This is a right exit of Summerlin Road, do not go over the San Carlos Bridge.)
- At the traffic light for San Carlos Blvd, turn left under the overpass onto San Carlos Blvd, heading west.
- Travel 2.5 miles on San Carlos Blvd and cross the Matanzas Pass Bridge.
- Turn right as you come over the bridge onto Estero Blvd North.
- Travel 0.75 mile to the Pink Shell Beach Resort. The registration office is on the left.
Getting there: Taxis and shuttle vans both cost about $35. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: A trolley that stops at the Pink Shell operates along the beach. Cost is 25 cents per ride (fee subject to change without notice).
Public transportation off the island is limited. Rental cars are recommended for exploring the area.
