This 40-acre Florida resort and yachting center complex is set off the main road, in the center of Fort Lauderdale’s beach, shopping, nightclub and restaurant district. The ocean beach is across the street and accessible via a private walkway. The hotel comprises a four-story marina building and a 16-story tower connected by a covered walkway.

Located in the four-story marina building and 16-story tower, the 296 guestrooms feature views of the ocean, yacht-filled marina, or tropical gardens and courtyard. Most rooms in the marina building, and all in the tower, include balconies.

Getting around: The best way to get around is by water taxi which travels along the Intracoastal Waterway and the New River. Passengers can get on and off to visit the many shops, cafes, and night spots along the route. Water taxis leave from the Intracoastal side of the hotel and all-day passes are $5–$15. The popular entertainment, nightlife, and shopping area of Las Olas Blvd is walkable and only two blocks away.
