Rooms
The hotel offers 231 newly renovated (summer 2006) nonsmoking guest suites in a 13-story building. Suites overlook the Intracoastal Waterway or the Fort Lauderdale skyline. They feature the Sweet DreamsŪ by Doubletree Sleep Experience bed, which includes a plush-top mattress that is triple-sheeted with high-thread-count linens; a down comforter; and a supply of jumbo pillows.
Suites include sofa beds, marble foyers, and plasma TVs. Both bedrooms and living/dining rooms are equipped with televisions and phones. Large bathrooms include gray-marble vanities and tub/shower combinations.
Kitchens offer granite countertops, refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, dishwashers, cookware, and coffeemakers. Most suites provide a balcony furnished with two chairs and a table, but a balcony cannot be guaranteed.
