The Coombs House Inn is a Victorian-style mansion set in historic downtown Apalachicola, where the Apalachicola River and Bay converge. The Inn consists of the Main House (built in 1905) and the East House (built in 1911), with a neighbor's house in between. There are 13 decorative original fireplaces, as well as oil paintings and antiques from all over the world. The hotel provides meeting facilities and a spa tub, and wireless Internet access is complimentary in the Main House. A complimentary breakfast buffet is provided each morning, and a wine reception is held on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays. Parking is free. |

Driving directions from Tallahassee Regional Airport: Exit airport, turn right onto Capital Circle, proceed for four miles. Turn right on US-319 (Crawfordville Road). After about 35 miles (10 miles after Sopchoppy), US-319 merges with US-98. Take US-319/98 through Eastpoint, across the Bay on Gorrie Bridge, and five miles to Apalachicola. Proceed through town and turn left at the flashing yellow light (stay on US 98). The Coombs House Inn is three blocks ahead on the left.
