A 444-room resort on a barrier reef off the northeast coast of Florida, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island is nestled between the ocean and an 18-hole championship golf course. Nine tennis courts are located oceanside. Two outdoor pools, including an adults only pool, and a spa tub and deck with lounge chairs overlook the beach. An additional lap pool and spa tub are located indoors.
Child-friendly amenities include a children’s pool, a playground, and Ritz Kids Club, supervised activities for ages 5-12. Our Space the Teen Lounge for ages 13-19. Our Space offers a great place for teens to meet each other and experience supervised activities. A 26,000-square-foot spa offers a variety of services in the 26 treatment rooms. The Spa offers an adult only swimming pool, a hair and nail salon, and sauna and steam room. Fitness equipment includes Cybex machines and treadmills.
The hotel has two indoor restaurants, a lobby bar and lounge, a sports bar, and an outdoor bar and grill. Stores include a gourmet shop, women’s clothing boutique, the Men’s Shop, and Mon Petit Chou, featuring women’s accessories. A staffed business center is on-site.

Getting there: The hotel picks up guests by pre-arrangement for $26–35 per person (minimum of 2 guests). Express Shuttle fare is more than $36 for up to 4 passengers. Taxis, rental cars, Town Cars, and limousines are all more than $36. Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available from this Web site.
Getting around: Guests can take advantage of hotel shuttles that go both to the historic area of Fernandino and to restaurant areas for $5–15 per person each way. Otherwise, a car is necessary to get around because of the hotel’s secluded location.
